HACIA (Hispanic American Construction Industry Association) is a not-for-profit organization that has been advocating for diversity and equity in the construction industry since 1979. Their mission is to support the growth and success of Minority-and Woman-owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs) through advocacy, networking, and comprehensive training programs.
HACIA hired our team to redesign their website with a focus on creating a user-friendly experience for its visitors, who range widely in terms of demographics. We achieved this by developing a clean, visually appealing design while carefully considering the user journey, ensuring seamless navigation and eliminating any potential for user error. As lead designer, I was responsible for designing the website from start to finish.

CHALLENGE & SOLUTION
HACIA’s previous website was cluttered and hard to navigate, making key information about programs and events difficult to find and risking user frustration. The visual design lacked cohesion, failing to reflect the organization’s energy and professionalism.
The redesigned site offers a polished, welcoming layout that reflects HACIA’s commitment to progress and inclusivity. Strategically built to drive action, it encourages member signups, event registrations, and resource downloads—helping HACIA better connect with and support its community.
